Sealed bids for the China Grove Middle School Gymnasium Floor Replacement, located in China Grove, North Carolina will be received by Rowan Salisbury Schools Operations Department until 2:00 pm on February 26, 2026, at the Wallace Education Forum (District Office), 500 North Main Street, Salisbury, NC 28144, and thereafter opened and publicly read.

The work includes General and Structural work to be constructed under a Single Prime Contract. The extent of the work is shown on the drawings and specified in the project manual.

An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on February 3, 2026, at 10:00 am at the project site, China Grove Middle School Gymnasium, 1013 N Main St., China Grove, NC 28023. Attendance is mandatory for all potential Bidders wishing to submit bids for the project. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. The meeting will be an opportunity to inspect the existing conditions at the Project Site.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier’s check issued by or a certified check drawn on a bank of trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation payable to Rowan Salisbury Schools in an amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the proposal or by a bond in the above amount executed in accordance with and conditioned as prescribed by G.S. 143-129, State of North Carolina. If the successful bidder fails to give satisfactory surety as required by law, the Owner will retain the above deposit. All contractors are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their trades.

The Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
