In no event will plans, specifications, and other contract documents be issued later than three (3) days prior to the hour and date set for receiving proposals. All bids shall be submitted as set forth in the instructions to bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid in the manner required by the instructions to bidders.
City of York reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, or to re-advertise for bids.
Each bidder shall submit Proof of Competency to the Owner with his bid as directed in the Instructions to Bidders.
The work of this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services and incidentals and of performing all work necessary to complete all specified work in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared therefor and entitled York Dam Repairs (D-1227) Tree Removal Project. The work generally consists of tree removal on the Upper York Dam (D-1227).
Construction must be substantially completed 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion of construction must be achieved 75 days from the Notice to Proceed has been issued.
Liquidated damages shall be assessed as follows:
A) For failure to achieve substantial completion by the contract date: $200 per day
B) For failure to achieve final completion by the contract date: $200 per day
