Lincoln County is replacing an existing 12-inch PVC water main system with 11,010 LF of new 12-inch ductile iron water main, 1,458 LF of 6-inch water main and 529 LF of 2-inch PVC water main and appurtenances. The project is located along West Highway NC 150, Lincoln Co. between Hwy 27 and NC 150 with additional work on Timberhill Trail and Love Memorial Rd.

Questions must be submitted by 5:00 PM, Friday, November 21st. All clarifications, answers to questions and changes made to the RFB will be responded to by written addendum. The addendum will be posted on the County’s Website on or before 5:00 PM, Tuesday, November 25th.

Pre‐bid Conference is mandatory.

Bid will consist of a base bid with two bid alternates.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a Unit Price Basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The Project has an expected duration of 450 days.

This project may be partially or fully funded by the State Revolving Fund (SRF) and as such is subject to Federal rules and regulations as stated in the project specifications including the Davis‐Bacon Act and the American Iron and Steel Provisions.

Lincoln County reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to cancel the Bid Process at any time.
